Quack Guidelines

These Guidelines and our Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure every user has a safe and genuine experience on Quack. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in losing access to the network. These Guidelines form a part of the Terms and Conditions, which you agree to comply with when you use Quack.

These Guidelines apply throughout Quack, including profiles, public feeds, Star Channels, paid or paywalled content, events and private messages. Quack is a creator monetisation platform, not a dating or adult-content service. Payment and privacy settings do not create exceptions to these rules.

Upload only your own photos and content.

We take copyright very seriously. If you don't own the rights to a photo or any content subject to copyright and don't have permission to use it, please don't post it. Do not copy or redistribute another creator's paid content without permission.

Respect your circle.

We're a very diverse community. This means you should respect other people's beliefs, interests and property while on Quack. Quack takes a strong stance against hate speech, violent, threatening, rude or abusive behavior, bullying, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, caste, immigration status or any other protected characteristic. You should behave the same way on Quack as you would in real life. Additionally we encourage all of our users to report anyone who does not follow these behavioral guidelines. As a community rooted in genuine friendship and respect we expect all of our users to be kind to each other, themselves, and the Quack staff.

Don't use slurs, threaten, blackmail or extort anyone, share their private details without permission (doxxing), or encourage others to target them. This includes creator-fan harassment, coordinated fan pile-ons and threats to publish intimate content or personal information unless someone pays.

Send original chats to your circle.

We strongly advise against copying and pasting the same message in every chat. We encourage our users to read profiles, learn about your circles' interests, and send appropriate, relevant chats. Don't send spam, manipulate engagement or pretend that automated or pre-written messages are a personal response from a creator.

Be yourself. No impersonation.

Use accurate profile information and a genuine photo of yourself for your profile photo. Don't impersonate another person, creator, celebrity or brand, or falsely claim their approval. If your profile is a fan account, label it clearly 'Fan Account' and make clear that it is not the person's official account. A fan label does not permit impersonation or unverified monetisation. Creators must complete Quack's identity and age verification before launching paid channels or earning Star Tokens or creator payments.

Sexually explicit and adult content.

• No pornography, nudity, explicit sexual activity or sexual descriptions, including adult sexual themes or content intended for sexual gratification.
• No selling, requesting or promoting sexual content, erotic chats or performances, or sexually suggestive paid content, including through Star Channels, paywalls or private messages.
• No commercial sex work, prostitution, escort services, or compensated sexual or dating arrangements, including 'sugar dating' involving money, gifts or financial support.
• No non-consensual intimate images, creepshots, hidden-camera sexual material or intimate deepfakes, and no threats to create or share them.

Protect children. Zero tolerance for abuse.

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Never create, upload, request, share, sell or link to content that sexually depicts or exploits anyone under 18, including fictional, altered or AI-generated material. Grooming, sexual conversations with minors, sexualisation of minors, sextortion and child trafficking are prohibited.

For photos of children other than yourself, you must be their parent or legal guardian, and they must be fully clothed and accompanied by an adult. Do not post photos of other people without their permission.

Report suspected child abuse immediately using the in-app Report tool or contact our child safety team at support@quackapp.com with 'Child Safety' in the subject. Do not download, copy or forward suspected CSAM. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.

We remove or disable access to CSAM immediately when we become aware of it, terminate accounts responsible for child sexual abuse or exploitation, and report confirmed CSAM to relevant regional authority, as required by applicable law. We use proactive automated filtering, including matching against hashes of known CSAM, alongside review of reports to help detect and prevent this material.

Age restrictions for paid features.

The minimum age for using Quack is set out in section 3 of our Terms and Conditions. You must be at least 18, and the age of majority where you live if higher, to purchase or earn Star Tokens, receive creator payments, subscribe to paid Star Channels or take part in paid one-to-one creator chats. Parental permission does not remove this restriction. Don't misstate your age, let a minor use your account for these features, or bypass our age checks. Creators must identify content that requires an age restriction and must not make it available to users below the relevant age. Prohibited content is not allowed at any age.

Violence and dangerous behaviour.

Don't post graphic violence, gore, torture or animal abuse, make violent threats, or promote terrorism or violent extremism. Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or dangerous challenges. Brandishing weapons, encouraging their illegal or reckless use, facilitating sales of weapons or ammunition, and providing instructions for making weapons or explosives are prohibited. These rules apply to all media and chats.

Don't do anything illegal on our app, it's just rude.

Illegal activity will not be tolerated on Quack. This may result in being banned from the network, and/or being reported to the authorities. Don't promote, sell or facilitate transactions involving illegal drugs, prescription drugs, marijuana or THC products (even where locally legal), tobacco, nicotine products, e-cigarettes or vapes, or alcohol. Don't encourage minors to use these substances or promote dangerous substance use.

Creator monetisation. No unauthorised soliciting.

Quack allows verified creators to monetise permitted content and services through its authorised Star Token and paid features. 

Quack isn't a marketplace for other goods or services. Don't request off-platform payments, redirect users to unauthorised payment methods, or promote financial schemes. Clearly explain what a purchase includes, its price and any recurring charge before users pay, and deliver the content or service as described. Don't demand extra payment to provide something already purchased. Sections 14 and 15 of our Terms and Conditions explain payments, cancellations and refunds.

Anti-fraud and deceptive behaviour.

Scams and fraud are prohibited. Don't create fake creator profiles, make false promises about earnings or monetisation, use romantic interest or a fabricated relationship to obtain money, demand advance fees on false pretences, or ask for payment to release a prize or payout. Don't mislead fans about who is responding, the content they will receive, or whether a service will be delivered. Never ask for another person's password, payment-card security details or verification codes.

Harmful misinformation and sensitive events.

Don't spread deceptive claims or harmful medical or public-health misinformation, including false treatment claims that could cause harm. Don't exploit deaths, conflicts, civil emergencies, disasters or other tragedies for money or attention, mock victims, or deny well-documented major tragic events. Respectful reporting, education and awareness-raising are allowed where they comply with these Guidelines.

AI-generated and synthetic media.

Clearly disclose when content or a chat response is AI-generated, or when an image, recording or video has been materially altered in a way that could mislead people. Don't use AI to impersonate a real person, create non-consensual deepfakes, deceive fans or carry out scams. Sexually explicit synthetic media and any content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation are prohibited. All other content rules apply equally to AI-generated material, which can be reported using the same in-app tools.

No gambling or investment promises.

Don't use Star Tokens, money or other items of value to bet, wager or enter games or contests for prizes of money or anything else of real-world value. Don't sell or trade Star Tokens outside Quack, or promote them as investments. Purchasing or holding Star Tokens does not entitle a user to a monetary return. Creator payments under Quack's authorised arrangements depend on genuine permitted activity; income is not guaranteed.

Reporting, blocking and enforcement.

Report a profile, channel, group or message using the in-app Report tool. Section 17 of our Terms and Conditions explains the steps. You can also report age-inappropriate or AI-generated content and contact us at support@quackapp.com. To stop someone contacting you directly, use 'Block User' from their profile or the controls in your chat. Reporting and blocking are available without making a purchase.

We use automated filtering to help prevent explicit and other prohibited material being posted, and review reports and flagged content. We respond promptly to safety concerns and prioritise urgent risks. When we identify content or creator channels that break these rules, we promptly remove or disable access to them and stop their monetisation. We may restrict or suspend accounts while investigating.

HOSTING, SELLING OR MONETISING ADULT OR PORNOGRAPHIC CONTENT, CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE OR EXPLOITATION, OR HATE SPEECH OR HARASSMENT IN STAR CHANNELS OR PRIVATE MESSAGES RESULTS IN IMMEDIATE ACCOUNT TERMINATION. FORFEITURE OF THE OFFENDING USER'S STAR TOKENS IS SUBJECT TO SECTION 16 OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND APPLICABLE LAW. OTHER BREACHES MAY ALSO RESULT IN REMOVAL OR A BAN.
